tanned skin

plastic painted portraits

for flashes of likes

fragmented snapshots of ever-lasting joy

for self-worth to spread in her head

her body envelopes angles with ease

the perfect picture

my tears scratch like melted wax

compromised integrity cracks blemished skin

I collapse on my bed
