Gabbi Cramond is a Brisbane-born, Brisbane-raised editor and writer. She has a Fine Art (Creative Writing) degree from QUT, where she graduated with distinction.
Forever curious about sci-fi and fantasy, she tells stories that intertwine the genre tropes and the Australian settings she grew up with. She aims to destroy the notion of cultural cringe in Australia altogether (however ambitious her goal is).
She has worked as a copyeditor for a Brisbane-based RTO. She also worked as an editor and copyeditor for ScratchThat Magazine. Her short stories have been published in ScratchThat Magazine. She was the 2020 winner of the QUT undergraduate Allen and Unwin Writer's Prize.
